Diabetic Foot Care



About one-fifth of Americans are hospitalized for diabetic foot problems at some point in their lives. Most symptoms of diabetes increases the risk of foot infection. Diabetics often have thick calluses that can break and become ulcers. Another possible symptom of diabetes is poor circulation which - in turn - reduces the body's ability to heal, repair and fight infections. Diabetes can also cause neuropathy, severe nerve damage that limits the sensitivity of the extremities.   2. Our feet need to be taken cared of pretty well. Pamper your feet once in a while: spa treatment, ingrown toenail treatment, diabetic care, etc. are essential to maintain healthy feet. Nice blog!
